Webelos I Den Meetings (Update 07/01/08) |

Hi Parents, Scouts, and Leaders!
I would like to update everyone on our July meetings. We have discussed and voted to conduct the meetings while we are working on the Aquanaut Activity Badge. If you look at the Events Calandar you will see we have Tuesday and Thursday evenings allocated to swim. We are working with the boys to help them learn first how to swim, then the Aquanaut requirements, and lastely the BSA Swimmers Test. If we see that a scout is just not ready to handle taking the BSA test, WE WILL NOT ASK HIM TO PARTICIPATE IN THE TEST. Our goal, each scout has the ability to swim and be able to save themselves in a water situation.

Hi Everyone,
Just a quick line or two. Our Bowling night was lots of fun and I appreciate everyone going out and doing their best!!! I want to take an opportunity to explain how to get from here to there on the website. Our meetings are in the Calendar of Events, click on the bar and it will bring up a 1/2 screen calendar. For those of you in the Webelos I den I will be emailing you your log in and password info regarding the website. Its an exciting time, getting the website functioning, moving up in Rank, and the world is a happier place because of all we do!!!!!!!!!!!!!
