Well, another GREAT YEAR in CUB Scouting has past. We made new friends, helped each other grow, learned many new things and had FUN!! Some of us experienced camping for the first time while others learned to cook at a campout. There are always new and exciting things to learn and do in Scouting.
We are extremely excited about the upcoming year and hope that everyone will utilize the site as much as possible. We will be including event sign up forms, surveys (to ensure we are doing what your son wants and needs), and much more. Mrs. Gosdin has put many pictures together in our photo album. You will need a user name and password to access them, but we will be running a slide show of pictures on the main pages. If you do not wish to have your son or your photos shown, please let us know in writing.
STAY TUNED FOR MORE TO COME. THIS SUMMER, LEADERS UTILIZE THIS TIME TO PLAN FOR THE COMING YEAR. WE WILL CONTINUE TO COMMUNICATE OUR PLANS AS THEY BECOME FINAL. CHEERS TO A NEW YEAR OF SCOUTING!

As most of you know, Daniel DeMaranville has decided to step down as Cubmaster and I have the honor as serving as your new Cubmaster. I am honored and hope to exceed everyone’s expectations. We are not letting Mr. DeMaranville out though; he is going to serve as Assistant Cubmaster and also as one of our Tiger Den Leaders.
We are blessed to have great Den Leaders and volunteers, but we have many open positions that we need your assistance to fill. You may not realize it, but there is a great volunteer inside each one of us just waiting to get out.
Many Parents and Grandparents think they are “Too Busy or Just Don’t have enough time” to get involved. The ones that “Do Find The Time”… discover a world of Fun, Excitement, Learning, and so much more. More importantly, you make a difference in the Cub Scout experience for the whole Pack. More than one story has been told amongst Scouters (adult leaders and volunteers) about how scouting was a life changing moment for them. You can’t imagine how proud your son will be when you help out, especially as a Den Leader or Assistant. Come join and help us make PACK 1333 the best Pack in the Country!! Please see our Volunteers Section of the website for more details. Remember, some positions may only require a few hours each year.

We would like to thank all those who have put in countless hours developing both a fun and informative site. A special thanks goes out to Lisa Gosdin (our Webelos I leader) who put in many late nights & early mornings. When you see her, let her know what you think about the site and how we can improve it. It is our hope that you will find all the information you will need to make your son’s scouting experience memorable at WWW.PACK1333.ORG
We are going to continue to add new features to the website. Some things you will see shortly is requirement sheets for each rank, meeting notes (in case you just have to miss a meeting) (oops forgot to talk to the leaders on that one)☺, and much more. The calendar is now up and running. This will be the central scheduling site for all Pack events. We have added filters that will allow you to look at events by Den, by Pack, by District, etc. You will also be able to register for events in the calendar. Come in, browse around and enjoy.
In order to see everything the site has to offer, please make sure to contact your Den Leader and let them know you would like access to the website. Please include name, Cub Scouts name, relation to Cub Scout and your e-mail address. We also encourage each Cub Scout to sign up as well. There will be areas specifically for them inside the member’s area with meeting information, ways to learn and earn at home, and much more. If your son has a separate e-mail address (don’t they all these days☻) and would like to be included in newsletters, event notifications, etc. please let us know. Each family member (GrandParents, Uncles, Aunts, anyone interested in Pack Events) can have their own login as well. Just include them on your list to your Den Leaders.
