to Burroughs Park for the
2008 Polaris District Raingutter Regatta
Races will begin at 010:00 or (10 am for you land lovers)
Event will last until 014:00 or (2 pm)
Castaways are welcome to spend their down time at the
Island Midway playing games and having fun.
Games include...SS Minnow Island Shot, The Howell’s Tacky Tourist
Relay, Little Buddy Limbo, MaryAnn’s Magical Tattoos, Professors
Bowling with Coconuts, Ginger’s Message in a Bottle and the Skipper’s Sack Race.
Island snacks and lunch will be available for purchase from Scouting 1659.
1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes will be awarded for each Rank. All winners will
compete in the Cup Race’s to earn the 1stplace Commodore’s Cup, 2nd place
Skipper’s Cup and 3rd place Boatswains Cup.
There will be a sibling race and a leader’s race for all the big kids who attend.
Split (Mono) Hull / Catamaran Style boats will race in a separate race. All
Racer’s who wish to race with their rank need to have a single hull boat.
All rules will be posted at the event and the judges/officials word is final.
